HOUSE ALPENGLOW BED & BREAKFAST
House Alpenglow Bed & breakfast is located in the picturesque city of Kimberley, British Columbia, nestled in the Purcell Mountains with fabulous views of the Rocky Mountains. A warm European décor carries the Bavarian theme throughout the Bed & Breakfast and further on to the village just walking distance away, making this B&B the perfect starting point for the sights, festivals, and the many other summer and winter activities Kimberley has to offer. The House was built in 1998 by German craftsman Tony Swartzenberger. Specifically designed as a Bed & Breakfast, House Alpenglow is a unique European Style. The wood that was used in its construction was cut by Tony in his own sawmill. You only have to look around at the fine crafted furnishings , ceilings, and lovely wooden floors to fully appreciate his unique attention to detail. House Alpenglow is located in a quiet cul de sac, Alpenglow Court, with the historic Old Baurenhaus Restaurant across the street and a short walk to Trickle Creek Golf Course and Kimberley Alpine Resort. The location is ideal for summer and winter guests. With a total of just over 3900 sq. ft. plus a 500 sq. ft. sunroom of living space on 3 finished levels, the house has had all floors insulated for sound proofing, you will notice the extra thick walls, the house is fully wired for phone, cable and internet in each room, the windows are European design Welo Windows with a unique tilt opening. In-floor heating under tiled floors greets you in the foyer on the first floor which has 2 bedrooms with ensuites, also on this floor is the laundry room and a storage room and the entry to the attached 2 stall garage.
